1. Information We Collect
When you sign in with Google we receive your name, email address, and profile picture from Google. We also collect usage data (videos created, features used, credit consumption) and technical data (IP address, browser type, device type) to operate and improve the Service. Payment information is handled entirely by Stripe — we never see or store your card details.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to: (a) create and manage your account; (b) generate videos on your behalf using AI providers; (c) process subscription payments through Stripe; (d) send you transactional emails (account confirmation, billing receipts); and (e) provide customer support. We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
3. Data Storage
Your account data and usage records are stored in a PostgreSQL database hosted on secure cloud infrastructure. Videos and media files you create or upload are stored on DigitalOcean Spaces (object storage). Data is stored in the United States.
4. Third-Party Services
We integrate with the following third-party services to deliver the Service: • Google OAuth — for authentication (Google Privacy Policy applies) • Stripe — for payment processing (Stripe Privacy Policy applies) • Replicate — for AI video generation (Replicate Privacy Policy applies) • OpenAI — for AI video generation (OpenAI Privacy Policy applies) Each provider's use of your data is governed by their own privacy policies.
5. Data Retention
We retain your account information and generated videos for as long as your account is active. If you close your account, we will delete your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal or tax purposes.
6. Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have the right to: access the personal data we hold about you; correct inaccurate data; request deletion of your data; and object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at support@userreel.net. We will respond within 30 days.
7. Cookies
We use session cookies solely to keep you signed in between page loads. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. You can disable cookies in your browser settings, but doing so will prevent you from staying signed in.
8. Security
We implement industry-standard security measures including HTTPS encryption in transit, hashed credentials, and restricted database access. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure. We encourage you to notify us immediately at support@userreel.net if you suspect any unauthorised access to your account.
9. Children's Privacy
The Service is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, we will delete it promptly.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or by posting a notice within the Service. The date at the top of this page reflects when it was last revised. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised Policy.
